Encounter

Encounter something challenging this coming summer! Forget lounging on a beach. Experience what God is doing elsewhere in the world as you share in the lives, hopes, worship and struggles of Christians of a different culture.

Are you willing to face the uncertainty of entering another culture and learn from the lives of Christians there? Are you hoping to be inspired, challenged and changed and to grow in your faith? By joining ENCOUNTER you will learn more about God, his global church, the issues of cross-cultural mission, yourself and your own culture and you will hopefully make some great friends along the way!

MAD — Make a Difference

Are you involved in your local church? Aged 21 - 30? Sensitive in your approach to other faiths and cultures? Adaptable and flexible and have initiative and perseverance? Then you could make a difference!

CMS-USA together with CMS Britain offers the MAD program as an experience placement to Christians wanting to learn and experience something of the world church. You will be placed in Europe, Asia or Africa; make new friends; eat new foods; and grow in your faith.

Internships

St. James' Church
Intercultural church internship based at St. James' Episcopal Church, New Haven, Connecticut, USA. St. James' is an evangelical, intercultural church. There are two services every Sunday: English at 10a.m and Spanish at 12 noon.
