Churches

CMS offers exciting ways for churches to be involved in local and international mission.

All you need to do is get in touch with us so we can discuss your unique needs and work out a meaningful solution for your parish or church. Please send e-mail to info@cms-usa.org or call 203-469-7077.

Through our LINKS program, churches can connect directly to mission work anywhere that we work. CMS mission personnel are involved in work in Africa, Asia, Europe – east and west, the Middle East and South America. We also have some growing programs in the US. They are involved in health, education, youth work, interfaith relations, theological training, community development, leadership training and so on. Our mission personnel rely on gifts and donations to do the work they feel God has called them to. Joining the LINKS program will enable you or your church to get resources to enable your prayer and fundraising activities on behalf of your linked missionaries. The link will help you focus you mission vision and learn and grow from the experiences of those in the mission field. What we know from experience is that mission changes the missionary as much or even more than the place and people they are sent to. Your church can be a part of this.

Churches Together

Obviously we can achieve a lot more together than we can alone so we also encourage churches to band together to support LINKS. Even a small parish can be a part of our international mission movement! Churches Together can also jointly sponsor visits from partners around the world. In some instances it might be possible and appropriate to invite the partners your missionaries are linked to overseas to come and visit you and share their experiences and faith. This has often been an experience that enriches churches and lifts their spirits and vision for mission.
